Bachelor of Business Administration
Overview
The BBA of Tribhuvan University's Faculty of Management is a semester-based management degree covering accounting, finance, marketing, human resources, operations and business analytics. It is taught with a heavier case-study and presentation load than TU's annual-system business degrees, and closes with a compulsory internship placement.

Who it suits
Students aiming at Nepal's banking, FMCG and development sectors, and anyone who expects to run a business. The cohort matters as much as the syllabus here — BBA classes are where a lot of Nepali professional networks start, which is a genuine reason to weigh college reputation heavily.
Think twice if
You want depth in a single discipline. BBA is deliberately broad, and graduates targeting specialised finance or analytics roles often end up adding a professional qualification such as ACCA or CFA afterwards. If you already know you want accounting, going straight to ACCA may cost less time overall.
BBA compared to BBS
BBA is semester-based, entrance-gated, taught in smaller cohorts and costs substantially more. BBS is annual-system, open-admission at most campuses and very inexpensive. BBA's advantage is teaching intensity and peer group; BBS's advantage is that it is affordable and can be studied alongside a job.
Eligibility and entrance
+2 or equivalent in any stream with minimum 50% aggregate (or 2.0 CGPA), plus a pass in the TU CMAT entrance examination.
