Apex College
About
Apex College is a dynamic institution offering management and IT programs. Known for its industry-focused curriculum and strong placement record, it prepares students for competitive careers in Nepal and abroad.
What Pokhara University affiliation means for you
Pokhara University runs a semester system with its own entrance and its own examination calendar. Colleges affiliated to PU generally publish results more predictably than the TU equivalent, which matters if you are working to a deadline for postgraduate applications abroad. The trade-off is cost: PU-affiliated colleges are consistently more expensive than TU ones for broadly comparable syllabi, and the PU name carries less recognition outside Nepal.
Ask before you enrol
- Confirm the college's PU affiliation is current for the specific program you want.
- Ask for the last two years of result publication dates, not the promised ones.
- Compare the total four-year cost against a TU-affiliated college teaching the same subject.
Programs offered
Our guides to programs taught here
BSc Computer Science and Information Technology
Students who enjoyed mathematics at +2 and want the theoretical depth that makes later specialisation — machine learning, distributed systems, security research — actually accessible. If you intend to apply for a master's abroad, this is the strongest computing transcript Tribhuvan University issues.
Bachelor of Computer Application
Students who want to write software professionally without a mathematics-first curriculum, and students from +2 Management who studied Computer Science — BCA is one of the few computing degrees that accepts them. The internship requirement means graduates typically leave with real workplace experience attached to their CV.
Bachelor of Business Administration
Students aiming at Nepal's banking, FMCG and development sectors, and anyone who expects to run a business. The cohort matters as much as the syllabus here — BBA classes are where a lot of Nepali professional networks start, which is a genuine reason to weigh college reputation heavily.
Facilities
Facility lists are what institutions describe themselves as having. Treat them as a prompt for what to look at on a campus visit rather than as a verified inventory.

Fees change every intake and the quoted figure rarely includes everything. Our cost guide lists the six heads Nepali colleges bill under and the questions that get a complete number.
