Who We Are
A platform built for Nepali students, by people who understand Nepal's education system.
Neptech Sanjal is an independent, student-first education portal based in Kathmandu, Nepal. We launched because navigating Nepal's education landscape is genuinely hard — information about colleges, entrance exams, scholarships, and degree programs is scattered, outdated, and often contradictory.
Our platform brings it together: college profiles sourced from each institution's own website, in-depth course guides that say who a program does not suit, side-by-side degree comparisons, and a cost guide that explains how Nepali college fees actually work — in one clean, fast site accessible from any device, anywhere in Nepal.
We are not affiliated with any college, university, or government body. We are independent, which means our listings and guides are objective. Institutions can pay to be featured, but they cannot pay to be misrepresented.
Our Mission
Simplifying the most important decision a Nepali student makes.
Every year, nearly 500,000 students in Nepal appear in the SEE (Secondary Education Examination). The majority of them — and their families — then face the same overwhelming question: what next? Which stream? Which school or college? Which program leads to a good career?
These questions deserve clear, verified answers. Our mission is to make those answers freely available to every student in Nepal, regardless of where they live or how well-connected their family is. A student in Surkhet deserves the same quality of information as a student in Kathmandu.

The Problem We Solve
Nepal's education system is rich — but hard to navigate.
Nepal has universities across every province — Tribhuvan University (the largest in South Asia by student enrollment), Kathmandu University, Pokhara University, Purbanchal University, Mid-Western University, Far-Western University, and more. Each has its own entrance examination, affiliation system, fee structure, and admission calendar.
Add to this the National Examination Board (NEB), the Institute of Engineering (IOE), the Institute of Medicine (IOM), the Medical Education Commission (MEC), and the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) — and it becomes clear why students and families struggle.
Neptech Sanjal is built to bridge this gap. We map every institution, program, and pathway so that any student — regardless of background or location — can understand their options clearly.

We are not owned by, funded by, or affiliated with any college, university, or government body. Our editorial decisions are not influenced by advertisers. Featured listings are clearly marked as sponsored.

We focus entirely on Nepal's education ecosystem. We understand the nuances of Nepali universities, NEB, IOE, IOM, CTEVT, and the Nepali academic calendar — things a generic education platform cannot replicate.
Constantly updated
Nepal's education calendar moves fast. SEE results, IOE entrance scores, university admission notices, and scholarship deadlines change frequently. We update the platform as these events happen.

Neptech Sanjal is free for students because we generate revenue through two sources: sponsored institutional listings (colleges and schools that pay to be featured or promoted on the platform) and contextual advertising displayed alongside our content.
Advertising on Neptech Sanjal is served by third-party ad networks, including Google AdSense. These ads are clearly distinguished from editorial content. Our revenue model never compromises the accuracy or independence of our content — sponsored listings are always marked as such.
