Thames International College in Old Baneshwor is one of Nepal's leading Tribhuvan University-affiliated colleges for business, information technology and social sciences. It is recognised for a liberal education approach that pairs a conventional TU syllabus with experiential learning, industry partnerships and a strong entrepreneurship track, and it is one of the few colleges in Nepal offering psychology and sociology at bachelor level alongside management.

Tribhuvan University sets the syllabus, conducts the examinations and issues the certificate — the college teaches to a curriculum it does not control. In practice that means two things worth planning around: examination and result timing is decided centrally and has historically been prone to delay, and the qualification is the most widely recognised in Nepal both by employers and by the public service. Fees at TU-affiliated private colleges vary widely for an identical syllabus, so the college you pick changes the cost and the teaching, not the degree.

Bachelor of Computer Application
Students who want to write software professionally without a mathematics-first curriculum, and students from +2 Management who studied Computer Science — BCA is one of the few computing degrees that accepts them. The internship requirement means graduates typically leave with real workplace experience attached to their CV.
Bachelor of Business Administration
Students aiming at Nepal's banking, FMCG and development sectors, and anyone who expects to run a business. The cohort matters as much as the syllabus here — BBA classes are where a lot of Nepali professional networks start, which is a genuine reason to weigh college reputation heavily.
Bachelor of Business Management
Students who intend to start or join a family business rather than enter corporate employment. The entrepreneurship weighting is genuine, and several colleges attach incubation support to it.
Bachelor of Information Technology Management
Students who want to sit between engineering and business — the business analyst, product owner and IT consultant track. If you like technology but do not want to write code for a living, BITM is the most direct Nepali degree for that.
