Who it suits
Students who want a computing degree with a semester system and smaller cohorts than TU can offer, and who value that PU colleges generally publish results on schedule — a practical advantage if you are applying abroad to a deadline.
Think twice if
Cost is a constraint. PU-affiliated colleges are consistently more expensive than TU equivalents for a broadly similar computing syllabus. The PU name is also less recognised outside Nepal than TU's.
BCSIT compared to BSc CSIT
Similar technical ground, different institution. BSc CSIT carries a stronger mathematics core and the TU name; BCSIT typically delivers more reliable scheduling and adds management papers, at a higher price.
Eligibility and entrance
+2 Science or Management with Mathematics, minimum 45% aggregate, plus a pass in the Pokhara University entrance examination.

On fees
We do not publish per-college fee figures, because they change every intake and a stale number is worse than none. Our cost guide explains how Nepali college fees are structured and what to ask before you pay.
