Who it suits
Students who want the clearest employment pipeline of any Nepali bachelor degree. The internship structure means graduates leave with documented international hotel experience, which is why BHM has unusually strong placement into Gulf, cruise-line and Southeast Asian employers.
Think twice if
You dislike shift work or physically demanding environments. Hospitality careers begin on the floor regardless of your degree, with long hours, weekends and standing shifts. Starting pay in Nepal is low; the degree's value shows up in international mobility rather than domestic salary.
BHM compared to BBA
BHM is vocational and specific: it trains you for one industry and places you in it. BBA is general and keeps more doors open. If you are confident about hospitality, BHM's placement advantage is substantial; if you are not, BBA is the safer default.
Eligibility and entrance
+2 or equivalent in any stream with minimum 45% aggregate, plus a pass in the university entrance examination and an interview.
