Texas College of Management and IT
About
Established in 2009 under the Texas International Education Network, Texas College of Management and IT in Siphal offers Malaysian-awarded degrees delivered in Kathmandu. What Lincoln University College, Malaysia affiliation means for you
This college delivers a degree awarded by a foreign university rather than a Nepali one. The attractions are a foreign transcript without leaving Nepal and, usually, an option to transfer credits to the awarding campus. The things to verify are unglamorous but decisive: whether the qualification is recognised by the Nepali authority relevant to your intended career, and what the transfer route actually costs if you take it. Foreign-affiliated programs are also the most expensive category in Nepal by a wide margin.
Ask before you enrol
- Check recognition with the relevant Nepali body before enrolling, especially for public-sector or licensed careers.
- Get the credit-transfer terms in writing, including the cost of the years spent abroad.
- Ask how many students from the last two cohorts actually completed the transfer.
Programs offered
Our guides to programs taught here
Bachelor of Information Technology
Students who did not clear the TU or PU computing entrances but are serious about an IT career, and students in eastern Nepal who want to study close to home rather than relocating to Kathmandu.
Bachelor of Hotel Management
Students who want the clearest employment pipeline of any Nepali bachelor degree. The internship structure means graduates leave with documented international hotel experience, which is why BHM has unusually strong placement into Gulf, cruise-line and Southeast Asian employers.
Facilities
Facility lists are what institutions describe themselves as having. Treat them as a prompt for what to look at on a campus visit rather than as a verified inventory.

On fees
Fees change every intake and the quoted figure rarely includes everything. Our cost guide lists the six heads Nepali colleges bill under and the questions that get a complete number.
