About
Founded in 1981 at Paknajol, People's Campus is one of Kathmandu's larger community campuses. It is dedicated to affordable, high-quality education, running +2 Management under the National Examination Board and BBA, BBS, BBM and MBS under Tribhuvan University, and has been repeatedly recognised for quality among community campuses.
What Tribhuvan University affiliation means for you
Tribhuvan University sets the syllabus, conducts the examinations and issues the certificate — the college teaches to a curriculum it does not control. In practice that means two things worth planning around: examination and result timing is decided centrally and has historically been prone to delay, and the qualification is the most widely recognised in Nepal both by employers and by the public service. Fees at TU-affiliated private colleges vary widely for an identical syllabus, so the college you pick changes the cost and the teaching, not the degree.
Ask before you enrol
- Ask how many of the last three intakes finished within the scheduled four years.
- Ask who teaches the practical and project papers, not just the theory papers.
- Confirm which fees go to TU (registration, examination) and which to the college.

Bachelor of Business Studies
Students who need to earn while they study, and anyone for whom cost is the deciding factor — BBS is the most affordable recognised bachelor degree in Nepal by a wide margin. It is also the standard qualification behind a large share of Nepal's accounting and banking workforce.
Bachelor of Business Management
Students who intend to start or join a family business rather than enter corporate employment. The entrepreneurship weighting is genuine, and several colleges attach incubation support to it.
